10-12-04 Just wanted to let everyone know that our Baxter (Adam x Cassie pup) won a first place in Open Puppy class at his second field trial this past weekend. He got a third place weekend before last in his very first trial.

Bax is out East with professional trainer Bobby Youngs. Bobby is now moving Baxter up to Derby Class.

Baxter finished his show Championship under Judge Cindy Vogels at the Greater Milwaukee Brittany Club show in July, at one year of age. (Photo attached).

Andrea drove him out to Pennsylvania to Bobby Youngs in August. Bobby has done a fabulous job of bringing the youngster along, despite the fact that Baxter had never had much opportunity to hunt.

Our dream of breeding a dual champion is looking pretty promising at this point.
