STABLE BRAGS Update 2/15/2010 Doc's Glowin Asset has given birth to chestnut filly by the stallion Good I Will Be. Her barn name is "Lexi".

Update 2/13/2010 Our mare Naughty Invite went to her first horse show and placed 2nd in Open halter, 1st in Mares at halter and 1st in stock type to bring home Grand Champion at halter. She also placed 1st in 2 walk trot classes and carried around one of Jim's clients daughters in lead line. She was a super star not flinching once while snow slid off the roof and other horses went bucking by her. |

Jim Ramthun has been training and showing horses for 23 years now with numerous State and Regional year end high point winners, AQHA, APHA and ApHC circuit champions, futurities winners and Top 5 National and World ApHC Champions. He specializes in Hunter Under Saddle and Western Pleasure horses. He only takes a limited number of client horses at any given time for training. That way he is able to give the horses and their owners the individual attention they need. Contact him directly for further information on availablity.

Our new quarter horse mare, Abby, competed in her first open horse show since arriving at Rao Farms. On July 18th she won second place and third place in two different Halter Classes. On Saturday, the 19th, she won six blue ribbons out of seven classes including Gramd Champion at Halter.
Update 8/2009
Rao farms has a new resident. A Major Pleasure(Maggie) has arrived from Oregon.
Maggie is a 6year old quarter horse mare. She will be Becky's new show horse. Her photo and pedigree will be posted on the current horses page in the near future.
